Lead Me Guide Me
Sometimes we just need inspiration. Sometimes, in the midst of our storms we need help and guidance. Sometimes, we just need that good old time gospel music, that we heard as children in the church, to reach us, to touch us, to move us. And sometimes, when we hear it, we see clearer, we act more responsibly and we do what God would have us do.

Skype to the Rescue
You'll notice at the top of the page, I have a Skype banner. Hasn't been there long and don't know how long I will keep it up there. But the reason I have it there is because believe it or not, Skype save me and my wife a bundle while we were on a trip a few months back.

Problems Always Seem Worse When They Are Mine
When I lived in Texas there was a saying many Texans used when facing adversity, called, "Cowboy Up!" For instance, when I was watching my children at a soccer game and one of the participants would fall, it wasn't long before a parent yelled, "Cowboy up!" - meaning, get up, dust yourself off, and get going. When I first heard it, I thought it was the perfect phrase! It went well with , "Quit Whining," or "Stop blaming others," and "take responsibility."
These are easy words to say when relating to others, but when I had to go through a storm myself, those words were a lot tougher and a lot less meaningful.
